Monster Man
Adam (Eric Jungmann) is driving cross-country to interrupt the wedding of the woman he has always loved, but has been too afraid to approach. Soon after departure, however, he discovers a surprise in the backseat. Harley (Justin Urich) has stowed away, determined to use the trip to mend his broken friendship with Adam, which petered out in college after a dispute over the very same woman they are now pursuing. Harley is Adam’s opposite; a self-proclaimed ladies’ man and offensive loudmouth, he manages to insult everyone they come across, including some locals at a small-town diner. This soon comes back to haunt him as the pair find themselves pursued by a monster truck with a supernatural driver, who is intent on their destruction. As the death toll mounts, the wisecracking duo pick up sexy hitchhiker Sarah (Aimee Brooks), and the race is on as they struggle to outrun their undead pursuer. A hip, often funny horror film, MONSTER MAN is an intelligent amalgam of Kevin Smith-style slacker humor and the chills of SCARY MOVIE and JEEPERS CREEPERS.
